Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
James is running The Grizzly on 1st March so, while he's destroying his knees, I thought it would be worth trying to raise a little bit of money for the Alzheimer's Society in memory, of course, of my Mum.
Those of you reading this will probably know the story, but Mum suffered from Pick's Disease, a rare form of early onset dementia primarily affecting behaviour, not memory, and lost her battle aged 57. As with all forms of dementia, it is a brutal illness and incredibly painful to watch. The National Brain Bank
If you are able to help by donating a small amount, thank you so much, but more importantly, please remember Mum (whether you had the pleasure of knowing her or not) and her battle and help raise awareness of this much lesser known illness. We miss her so much and want her illness to bring a little bit of good, as Mum herself brought a whole lifetime of good and a massive heartful of love.
Thank you, Charlotte xxx
