On Sunday July the 11^th, I will be running in my first EVER half marathon in Leamington Spa. I am both nervous and excited but want to take the opportunity from those generous enough to support me, to raise some money for a cause that I am passionate about.

I have chosen The Shakespeare Hospice. This is a charity that is incredibly close to my heart for two main reasons. Firstly, because they support some of the children I currently teach and I know these children really value that support. Secondly, because my own mother is a cancer survivor and I will never forget the huge strain this put on our own family life. The Shakespeare Hospice support families in a similar situation to that of my own.

No donation is too small. All is hugely appreciated. If you are free and want to come and support me in all my sweaty red faced glory on the day, it all starts at 10am in the town centre.
