Story

Every year Chemical Code donates to a charity, normally at xmas, however this year we thought we'd do something a little different. The boss is a keen cyclist who in the past has ridden some pretty epic events, one annual ride is the CFC Sportive a 100 mile ride starting in Stratford upon Avon. This year Jamie is also going to ride the event. Jamie doesn't ride bikes...

So what's it all for, well on the one hand we want to raise some money for CFC, a fantastic charity providing bikes to children and young people who are living with cancer - activity, fitness, strength and confidence are all positive outcomes from using bikes whether adapted specially or not. What's not to like...

Jamie. Well he likes to throw himself into things (he's had a chance to back out!), although fit (gym boy!), he isn't a cyclist of any description so he has 4 months to get himself in shape (with some guidance from Paul) to ride the 100 mile event. He now has a bike, a training plan, some Spd's (shoes that attach to the pedals) and youth on his side.

Watch out for his Jamie's forthcoming blogs and Instagram posts following his progression! Just follow @chemicalcode
