Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Unfortunately I had a fall and injured my ankle which did not allow me to train well!  I did not feel confident that my ankle would hold out for 13 miles at this time so made the decision to miss the Luton half marathon and run the Reading half marathon instead allowing time to heal and train!!!  In addition, I was feeling brave and will be running the MKmarathon too!!

i have run both if these before so have set myself a hard target with my time!!!!  Now for some focus!!

I will be running the Luton Half Marathon in October raising money for the Rubenstein Taybi Support Group.

My step daughter has the syndrome and has taught me that with the right attitude you can achieve anything you want!  Hollie never fails to brighten my day with the wonderful smile that greets me every morning!

I had never heard of the syndrome before I met Hollie and I hope to raise greater awareness!!

I do run but am a plodder...  I'm hoping that raising money for a good cause and knowing that Hollie will be there at the end will keep me moving on the day!!!
