Story
I'm taking on the world famous London Marathon to raise money for the oldest animal welfare charity around, the RSPCA. Every mile I complete and pound I raise will make a massive difference to the lives of animals. The RSPCA rescue, rehabilitate and rehome or in the case of wildlife release thousands of animals every year. Sadly, due to the cost of living crisis we are seeing more and more abused and neglected pets coming into our care - some of the cases are truly heartbreaking BUT thanks to our amazing staff and volunteers we see many animals lives turnaround and they find their happy ending in forever homes. My dog Bruno is a rescue and cat Arthur was saved by the RSPCA after he was dumped like rubbish in a bin liner with two siblings. Those sad days are a distant memory for both of them now and they can be for many other animals too with YOUR help. The RSPCA relies completely on public donations and as well as saving animals will also bring abusers to justice and their campaign work gives a voice to animals. We are also growing Pet Food Bank schemes to help pet owners in need. Please help us keep up this amazing work during these tough times. Thank you!
