Bubble Rush 2019 · 6 April 2019 ·

Bubble Rush is an exciting fun run with a bubbly difference! Around the 5k course four bubble stations will pump out coloured bubbles, immersing runners in a wave of colourful, bubbly fun!

Story

St Luke's Hospice in Harrow was a charity close to Chhaya's heart. In her spare time, Chhaya would support and volunteer at the hospice.

Its almost a year since we said "Till we meet again" to our lovely friend. Some of her family will be doing the bubble rush in her memory. We think she would love it. Please sponsor our team 'Chhaya's Sparkle' and help raise funds for St Luke's Hospice.

A little about them:

St Luke’s Hospice looks after people in Harrow and Brent whose illnesses are no longer curable. We help and empower them to enjoy the best possible quality of life, knowing their family and carers are supported too. We aim to care for and support people in the place of their choice, whether it is in their own homes, supported by our Hospice at Home and Community Teams, in our Woodgrange Day Centre, or in our In Patient Unit.

They work in partnership with, and provide education and support to GPs, community teams, nursing homes, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest levels of care for patients, whatever the setting.

If you raise £80  in sponsorship for your Bubble Rush you would fund one of the nurses for a whole day, whilst £140 would pay for essential drugs for all of the patients for one day, to help manage pain and nausea. So really every contribution, no matter how big or small helps someone have a better day.
