I will be taking part in the Great South Run with other members of Southern Diving Unit 2. The theme is Diving Kit through the ages. I will be wearing full Siebe Gorman Standard Diving kit which weighs around 200lb. I will start the race on Friday 26th October as BUPA have give me permission to start early and they are erecting a start point on the Friday for me. I will cover 5 miles on Friday then a further 4 miles on the Saturday and i will cover the last mile on race day Sunday 28th October and hopefully cross the line with the rest of the team from SDU 2. we are raising money for BLESMA a fantastic organisation that helps our wounded servicemen.
