It’s the time of year when we start to think about Christmas celebrations and seasonal fundraising, so we are pleased to announce that tickets for our Christmas Hampurr are available now.

This year yet again, many of our fundraising events were cancelled due to COVID and this has had a major impact on the branch funds. We have continued to operate and our volunteers have work incredibly hard to ensure that the cats and kittens in our care are well fed, happy and receive the appropriate veterinary care. Please support us by buying raffle tickets so that we can continue to look after our fabulous felines!

To be in with the chance of winning the purrfect Christmas Hampurr, follow the instructions below and buy a ticket for our Christmas raffle, while helping cats and kittens in the process.

Raffle tickets cost £1 each. To enter online there is a minimum payment of £2 so you will receive two entries to the raffle draw. Please ensure you read our important information and terms and conditions to ensure we can get the prize to you if you are our lucky winner. If you would like to purchase just one ticket, please contact the branch via fundraising@chiltern.cats.org.uk.

Sales of tickets close on Wednesday 15th December at 6pm.

We will announce the winner of our Christmas Hampurr on Saturday 18th December at 6pm on our Facebook page and website. The winner will also be contacted and arrangements will be made for the prize to be collected/delivered.

Raffle prize: Christmas Hampurr including: a voucher for Dukes Wine Bar in Princes Risborough, a calendar, mug, sweets, cat themed stationery, candles and plenty more. Extra prizes will be added throughout November and December.

Important:
1. Please ensure that you supply an email address otherwise we cannot get in touch with you if you win.
2. Please tick the box next to ‘I'm happy to share my contact details with Cats Protection’. This will ensure we are able to get in touch with you if you win.

What to do:
Simply make a donation of £2 for two tickets, £5 for five tickets or £10 for 10 tickets and JustGiving will direct the funds to the charity. We will then enter your name and ticket numbers into our raffle draw automatically; if you require a digital ticket, please let us know. You will receive an email if you are a winner.

Tickets cost £1 each. Every £2 donation = two entries. You can also purchase 5 tickets for £5. Every £5 donation = 5 entries. 10 tickets for £10. Every £10 donation = 10 entries. JustGiving has a minimum donation of £2. We cannot change this.

Terms and conditions:
1. The draw will take place at the Princes Risborough Fosterer’s pens on 18th December 2021 at 6pm. All funds raised will go to Cats Protection. Registered Charity 203644 (England & Wales) SC037711 (Scotland).
2. Promoter: Dominic Sullivan, Cats Protection, National Cat Centre, Chelwood Gate, Haywards Heath, RH17 7TT.
3. The raffle is registered under The Gambling Act 2005 with Wealden District Council, Shared Environmental Health Service, Rother District Council, Town Hall, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex TN39 3JX.
4. This raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain only (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).
5. The cost of each ticket is £1. For online sales a minimum sale of £2 (two entries) is required. 
6. Gift Aid cannot be claimed on the sale of raffle tickets and is in breach of HMRC regulations. Any ticket purchases with Gift Aid added will be cancelled and refunded.
7. Entrants must be 18 or over, if a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize.
8. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.
9. Tickets are not to be sold on the street or door-to-door.
10. Any money received after the arbitrary/closing date (18th December 2021) including late entries will be treated as a donation to help fund the work of Cats Protection and will not be refundable or eligible for the draw.
11. The winner will be notified via email within three weeks of the draw. The winner will also be published on our Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/cpchiltern and on our website - https://www.cats.org.uk/chiltern.
12. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
13. For any tickets purchased online, you must ensure you follow the instructions and tick the box to say we can view your email address. Any payments received where this box isn't ticked will be treated as general donations because we have no way of contacting you. No responsibility is taken if raffle numbers are sent using an email and not received. 
14. Participants purchasing tickets using JustGiving, subject to terms and conditions, will receive emailed ticket numbers within 48 hours if requested.
15. The deadline for entries on the JustGiving site is 6pm on 15th December 2021. This is 72 hours prior to the closing date/time to allow time for the entry to be processed.
16. Cats Protection reserves the right to use the winner's name for promotional purposes.
17. Donations made not in equal pounds will be rounded down to the nearest £1 when calculating the number of raffle ticket entries. E.g. if you donate £2.80 you will only receive two entries into the draw with the remainder being treated as a donation.
18. Cats Protection respects, and is committed to protecting, your privacy. The personal information you provide will remain private and will only be used for the purposes of the raffle unless you give permission otherwise.
