Story
A team of 22 trekkers have committed to raise funds for Headway as part of their challenge to trek the Great China Wall on 6th May 2013. The trek has been organised in memory of Paul Maguire who sadly passed away following a motorbike accident in 2010.
Paul died 2 weeks after his 18 birthday in July 2011 after being involved in a road traffic accident 8 months previously. Headway had been very supportive of the family during this harrowing time as young Paul lay in a coma for the 8 months due to severe head injuries.
Having visited Headway Centre and seen the work they do, trekkers have committed to raise £500 each to go directly to Headway Jersey. All expenses are covered by the trekkers themselves.
Thanking you for supporting such a great cause.
