London to Paris Cycle Challenge 2022 - Plymouth University · 1 July 2022
I have decided to take on the crazy challenge of cycling from London to Paris to raise money for an amazing cause - Marie Curie.
This challenge will take 4 days to complete, with 3 of those days being spent on the bike cycling 280km! Starting from Greenwich Park (London), I will cross the finish line at the foot of the Eiffel Tower (Paris).
The craziness of this challenge for me is the fact I have not got on a bike for about 10 years, and so will be having to put in a lot of training to get on the bike and make this distance. I am beyond excited though to take part, especially for an amazing cause.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Remember any donation is a huge help - no matter how small! Thank you!
What do Marie Curie do?
Marie Curie was established the same year the NHS was. It provides care and support to people with terminal illnesses and their families. They provide this care and support through information, nurses, hospice care, and helper volunteers.
What your donations can do:
- £24 pays for a call to their support line, meaning someone can receive practical information and emotional support.
- £90 pays for half an evenings care in a person's home.
- £180 pays for nine hours of nursing support in someone's home throughout the night.
