Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well we managed to complete the Fred Whitton challenge in 9 hrs 30 mins which is 2 hrs 10 mins faster than last year.  The weather was kind and thankfully there was no technical hitches with my bike this time.  Although in the spirit of the Giro D Italia Punchy had a crash on a downhill hairpin and luckily came away with just a few scratches.  I never heard any comments from Jim about too much free wheeling but there again I always seemed to be playing catch up with the younger  (and lighter) members of the team.  Anyway it was a great day and we were very happy with our effort. 

Gary would have been extremely proud of us all and the money raised for St Lukes (nearly £750 at this time), so a huge thank you to all who sponsored us and to those who are still in the process!  I would also like to dedicate our effort to Carolyn and Cameron who we are always thinking of - see you in June!!!
