When my wife Victoria was pregnant with our second child she was diagnosed with breast cancer. This was an incredibly tough time, but one of the charities that helped massively was Mummy’s Star.

 They help families meet others in a similar position, offer small grants to relieve some financial burden, give support to partners and the wider family, promote awareness and support research. 

In order to say thank you I will be running the Great North Run in September. 13 miles of lugging my 40 year old, overweight, ex smoker frame around the streets of Newcastle, this is a challenge that I’m having to work hard for. 

Any contribution is greatly received.
