I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids to raise money for GOSH Charity. My Daughter Aurora has recently been diagnosed with a rare genetic condition relating to the mutation to the Gene PTEN. Mutations of this gene are a step in the development of many cancers, specifically glioblastoma, lung cancer, breast cancer, and prostate cancer. She also has the added complication of Chiari malformation which is a condition in which a part of the brain (the cerebellum) at the back of the skull bulges through a normal opening in the skull where it joins the spinal canal
