Story
Well, I am grateful that you have got this far, in actually looking, now for the easy bit, where you make a donation to a really worthwhile cause. Firstly though to just confirm, I will be walking 100Km (62miles) within a 24 hour period. Those of you that know me well will appreciate the size of this challenge, having said that, it is a great excuse to eat a lot of cake (for energy purposes) whilst walking !
So I want you to all dig deep and contribution towards this challenge by making a donation. Just remember, you are getting a double benefit by donating to St Dunstans;
You help towards the rehabilitation and support of men and women who were making sacrifices on behalf of ourselves and
You force me to have to complete this walk, as I can not let them down when your contribution is riding on me completing it and thus you can be sure I will be in agony for most of the walk and a long time after.
Below are some of the bits from Just giving to advise on the process and confirm your money goes directly to the charity and is safe online. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
