From the 12th-19th of July we are walking and camping the Thames path (all 184miles/296km of it!) from the source in Gloucestershire to the Thames Barrier in London. This will be roughly 40km everyday!!! We will be self sufficient- carrying everything we need including our tent Tim Tam. 

We have chosen to support ActionAid with our walk as they aim to end gender inequality in poverty stricken countries so that all women, everywhere can control their futures. They work to end violence against women, enable female economic empowerment and support women's and girl's rights during humanitarian crises. 

Our walk will be part of their Go the Distance campaign and from now until 4th June, everything we fundraise will be matched, pound for pound, by the UK Government! This is part of ActionAid's 'She is the answer' appeal.
