On Thursday 4th October 2018 I will be modelling in the Breast Cancer Care fashion show which will be my first time ever on a professional catwalk - yikes!!

All of the models who take part in this special event, like me, have had a diagnosis of breast cancer. The Show is an amazing occasion of fashion, fundraising and inspiration proving that you can look and feel great after a diagnosis of breast cancer.

Last year's show was a fantastic event raising over £370,000 and this money made a vital difference to Breast Cancer Care. The reality is that there are more than half a million people in the UK today who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and every year another 60,000 hear that devastating news that they have the disease. Thanks to the generosity of people like you supporting The Show, Breast Cancer Care is here for everyone of them, providing expert information and skilled emotional and practical support when it's needed most.

When I was diagnosed in 2015, those words 'you have breast cancer' felt to me like a death sentence and as though my world had ended at that very moment. However, here I am to tell the story and a huge part of my recovery is due to this amazing charity and the services they offer. Practical and emotional support at the time is vital. I am so honoured to be selected to take part in The Show. Words cannot express my feelings of thanks to Breast Cancer Care and I hope you will help by donating - it doesn't matter how small the amount, it all goes to such a good cause, which hopefully, you will never need to call upon.
