Story
As most of you guys know my beautiful wife Angela has been having treatment for Breast Cancer over the last 10 months (god has it been that long!) So after spectating at this years Marathon I was really keen to get in next year and to also raise money to support the amazing work that the Macmillan Nurses and Teams in the Day Unit at Ipswich Hospital do.
Well my phone rang earlier it was a private number so I was expecting a sales call.
Turns out it wasn't a sales call in fact far from it!!!!!!
It was a lovely lady from the Macmillan Running Team offering me a place in the 2019 London Marathon!!😱😱😱
Right so it looks like I've got get my slightly out of shape, 3 weeks post hernia op backside in to gear and get 9 months training and fundraising going ASAP!
Please if your able to donate to help support Macmillan in the amazing work they do it will be greatly appreciated!!
Many Thanks
Chris
