EJF is an environmental and human rights charity that empowers local communities in the developing world to protect their own environment. EJF tackles critical problems that are often ignored bringing beneficial social and environmental change to some of the world’s largest industries such as cotton and illegal pirate fishing

Ready to strain those buttocks for charity? No? Then at least support me :)
I am riding to Paris in September to raise money for the Environmental Justice Foundation. They are raising awareness and funds to help transform the cotton industry so that our fashion (doesnt really apply to me I know - but my tracksuit is mainly cotton) doesn't have to cause suffering to those who make it and damage to the environment. The reports ive read about cotton production are really disturbing and industry and buyer / retailer standards need to change.
EJF also work on illegal fishing. Something (as a Pisces) that is important to me. International attention and help for those communities being literally robbed of their protein needs is another urgent and worthwhile cause and reason to support EJF.
The minimum amount to raise for the ride is 1250 pounds... quite a large amount of cash but will definately be used well, ive been doing an internship here with EJF and theyre a very dedicated hard working bunch tackling serious issues that need support.
