Story

I am hoping to run 100k in October for charity. This is a challenge for me as I will be juggling work, mummy duties and running approx 25k per week. An increase from the 5-10k I currently run. Although it will be tough I'm extremely thankful to be fit and healthy to even consider doing it.
The 30th September 2021 marked the 10th year anniversary of the passing of my auntie Val, I am running 10k for every year we have missed out on the fun loving person that she was. I want to keep her memory alive - she was one in a million.
The charity I have chosen is MSsocietyNI, while my aunt died suddenly at 48 years old due to a heart attack she had lived with MS for nearly 10 years. Since her diagnosis around 20 years ago I feel there hasnt been much improvement in treatment for MS and it continues to compromise the lives of many. The money raised will support many people/families in N.Ireland needing help. It will also fund research to help find a cure. I have a childhood friend also living with MS and its people like him who I wish for improved treatment. Please donate what you can, no matter how much, it will all make a difference. I will post weekly updates on my social media from my running app to track the distance I have ran. I also intend to finish with a 10k run on 31st October (Halloween) with some friends joining me. Anyone welcome to join.
