City Hikers Three Peaks Challenge · 6 July 2019

We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Welcome to our page! We are a team of friends and colleagues taking on a hiking challenge in the name of fundraising for GOSH.

What's the challenge?

We are putting together our mixed experience of walking to embark on the Three Peaks hiking challenge, that's Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon, in 24 hours. You can follow our progress on instagram.

Why?

Primarily, to raise funds for charity. But also because we are a bit mad, and sort of like the outdoors. Sort of.

Why GOSH?

Great Ormond Street Hospital is a children's charity medical institution that saves a countless number of children every year. They are almost entirely funded by donations and provide free care for all patients. Most of us can find a story from our social circles of someone being saved by GOSH, but this is particularly close for one of our team members whose daughter is being treated there. You can read more about Lily-May's story here.

So that's it! Thanks for reading, and we are grateful for any support you can provide. Wish us luck!
