Story
Like many of you, I get up each day and choose what to do with my life. Maybe I go for a run, perhaps I workout in the gym or meet my family for a walk. Whatever it is, I am deeply privileged and, most importantly, I am largely safe. That isn't the case for everyone and certainly not for Ukrainians right now.
There are criminals at work in Ukraine and lives are being decimated. Evil does and will always exist; our safety and freedom generally rely on the good nature of our fellow humans. When that fails, we are truly doomed - it isn't just Ukraine, of course, but Ukraine is close to home and whilst we can't stop the war, money can help those in greatest need.

Please help in any way you can. Maybe you can sponsor me or donate to another charity that's helping the appeal. Whatever the outcome, I will make sure that at least £250 goes to the Disasters Emergency Committee's Ukraine Appeal.
I'm running the Lakeland Trails Ultra (55km) in July and hope to make every step count.
