To celebrate my sister and her friends qualifying as Staff Nurses and becoming part of a special group of people who dedicate their lives to looking after yours and your families during times of need, we are taking part in the Macmillan 26 mile Trekathon. 

This event is likely to take a good 13 hours of none stop slogging it through fields and up and down hills during the heat of August!  We are going to be paying for this with sore ankles and painful blisters for a good 10 days afterwards but it will be worth it if we can give someone the care they need and deserve during their battle with cancer.
