Story

Hello! I am one of the scientists at GOSH and UCL. I've been researching JDM for the last 5 years. JDM is a very rare and serious autoimmune disease affecting children and young people.
I'm working towards unravelling the genetics of JDM and improving our understanding about why some patients do well but others don't. I also work on building the evidence for which medicines work in JDM.

JDM is a long-term disease, but funding to study JDM as a long-term disease is very hard to come by. For this reason my colleagues and I are joining the fundraising efforts of patients and familes affected by JDM to help us continue our work.

We are so grateful for any support you can give. Thank you very much!
