I'm Claudia and I'm a second year architect studying at The University of Nottingham. This year I am taking part in an exciting project to design and build a new education building for one of the poorest villages in South Africa.

The site of the new building will be located in the village of Lesedi, Limpopo, where there is currently only 1.5 classrooms for 79 children. Our aim is to improve the education facilities for these children by building a creche with 3 classrooms and a nursery. We also hope to include an office, kitchen, toilet block, playground as well as a reliable water supply.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity, however we need your help! Each student has an aim to raise £1000, this money will go directly towards the materials, tools and fuel that is needed to construct our creche, nothing else. We start building over Easter 2019, where we will be working for 12 hours every day for 20 days!
