RB's GLOBAL COMMUNITY CHALLENGE 2011 Brazil

 

Save the Children is Reckitt Benckiser's global charity partner and since 2003 we have raised over £4 million to save children's lives.

Luckily I have been selected to take part in the 3rd Reckitt Benckiser Global Challenge 2011 for Save the Children.

 

From 4 June – 12 June 2011, 30 of my RB colleagues from around the world and me will take on physical labour in the heat to renovate two crèches in Petrolina, Brazil. They are used by young children for education and play. Many of the families work in agriculture so the crèches provide a safe haven for these young children in a particularly poor, deprived area of Brazil. We will be making the crèches much brighter, cleaner spaces both inside and out by painting, repairing restrooms, kitchen walls and floors and planting trees, improving recreational areas and playgrounds.

 

 

 

I am very excited to take part in this hugely rewarding and unique experience to help children in Brazil who are desperate for support and education.

I always wanted to take part in a humanitarian project - and now you can help me to make it happen!
