As many of you know, I was unfortunately unable to take part in the London Marathon as planned for Thames Valley Air Ambulance (TVAA). Therefore, I am now taking part in the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday 13th October 2024 in memory of my brother, Sam, who we sadly lost on August 5th 2006 at only 6 years young in a tragic, sudden accident. My family and I were/are still absolutely heartbroken; for my siblings and I, losing our brother, and my parents, losing their son - no words can describe the feeling of loss. I will cherish my wonderful memories with Sam forever.

TVAA were absolutely amazing in trying to save my brothers life, they were quick to the scene and did everything they could. Although the outcome wasn’t what we wanted, hoped and prayed for - I’ve always wanted to give something back to them to thank them for all that they did for my brother, and every other life they have saved, will save and try their best to save.

We saw first hand what they do to save people’s lives and I would really appreciate your support in helping me to fundraise to show them how much we appreciate their work. This will honestly go so so far in helping them to continue their incredible work in trying to save our loved ones!
