I along with others are taking part in SSAFA Forces Help - Ride of Britain, it is our intention to cycle from Edinburgh to London in 5 days! Those that know me, know I like to complete any challenge I am set.

I have got to know about SSAFA Forces Help through my current 6 month post at Royal Centre for Defence Medicine (RCDM) as Unit Liason Officer. Whilst at this post I have had involvement with SSAFA Norton House - Selly Oak and the service they provide to our families of injured service personnel who are receiving treatment at RCDM Queen Elizabeth Hospital. It is because of this involvement that I have chosen to take part and raise much needed funds for SSAFA Forces Help so that they in turn can ensure that this valuable service continues for as long as is needed. I must also mention that SSAFA Forces Help do so much more than provide the 'home from homes' check out their website. www.ssafa.org.uk.
