Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Following two abortive attempts as a team, the 6 intrepid Cordwainers have completed the challenge of Skydiving from 13,000ft . Please watch the youtube video attached which gives you an idea of the fall!

The donation you give will go towards the purchase of a new buggy to allow the Royal London Society for the Blind to move Students between the different campuses at Dorton House School.

The RLSB provides education and community services for young people aged from 2 to 25. The educational campus in Sevenoaks includes a Nursery, School and College, where individually tailored plans, prepare each child to succeed not only in their academic progress, but to give them the mobility training, lifeskills and confidence to live in a sighted world.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Minge's Gift gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

(The Worshipful Company of Cordwainers is a City of London Livery Company. Originally a trade body representing those leatherworkers using goat hide from the Cordoba region of Spain in the 13th century, the Company has since evolved into a charitable body supporting not only the footwear industry in the UK but also the territorial army, the Royal London Society for the Blind and organisations supporting former service men and women. Further detail regarding the Cordwainers can be found at www.cordwainers.org ).
