The walk is postponed, but that’s not stopping us! 

Claire (mum of Amy, 18), Katie (mum of Alex, 16) and Jo (Claire's amazing friend) will each be running 10 miles (by ourselves) from our houses, on Sunday 17th May 2020 as part of M.E. Awareness week 2020. Covid-19 may have stopped us getting together but it has not stopped the need for funding and research and the struggle that continues daily for people with M.E.

We are still planning to do the group walk but it might not be until next year...

We are a group of mums, friends and family members in Cornwall, raising awareness for the #MillionsMissing from their lives because of the devastating effects of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E./CFS). We continue to fight for a greater understanding of this debilitating and life-changing illness, and crucially raise funds for biomedical research, getting us closer to effective treatments and even one day a cure, as right now there are no treatments or cure. 

We're planning a 10 mile Cornish hike along the Camel Trail from Padstow to Wadebridge. Some of us will do a shorter walk, some just get there and not walk at all, some will be in a wheelchair and some will need to stay at home, it’s very much a do what you feel like on the day with the emphasis being on as many of us as possible being involved In some way, even from home ❤️ 

Please support us if you can, for a better future for our loved ones who are largly confined to their beds and their homes, not able to get better and live a normal life. Every penny raised will be so enormously appreciated and will go directly towards vital research. Thank you!!!
