Corpus Christi College was founded in 1352 and provides a stimulating academic environment for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Providing a supportive environment to Students, Staff and Fellows has always been at the heart of Corpus' mission and was recently highlighted by the launch of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Team in 2022: Dr. Matthew Bullimore (EDI Lead), Dr Shurti Kapila (Race and Equality Champion), Prof. Ewan St. John Smith (LGBTQ+ Champion) and Dr Jo Willmott (Disability Champion).

June 2022 is Pride Month and Emma Gibson (JCR LGBTQ+ Officer) and Henry North (MCR LGBTQ+ Officer) have been working with Ewan to put on an event to celebrate Pride on Sunday June 12th. Corpus will be hosting a set of speakers who will discuss their academic research in the LGBTQI+ sphere. In addition, we will be hosting representatives from GiveOut, an organisation that provides grants to LGBTQI+ organisations globally, ensuring that they have more of the resources they need to defend LGBTQI+ communities, tackle inequalities and campaign for lasting change.
