The band are getting back together on Monday 21st June to take part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge for a 3rd time (we must be mad). For those who do not know, this means we will be playing 4 rounds of golf in one day. We will tee off as soon as it is light enough for us to see where the balls gone, usually shortly before 4am, and then we will play 72 holes at Cheshunt Golf Club, walking the entire way, no carts allowed, last time out we completed the 72nd hole shortly before 9pm, so nearly 17 hours on the course.
On the previous 2 occasions we have taken part we have raised money for McMillan Cancer Research however on this occasion we will be raising money for Clic Sargent - Children Cancer Support. Morrison’s will also match every pound we raise to the final amount. You can see what they do from the link below.
