CAMP for NEPAL · 24 May 2015

At times of overseas emergency, the DEC brings together a unique alliance of the UK's aid, corporate, public and broadcasting sectors to rally the nation's compassion, and ensure that funds raised go to DEC agencies best placed to deliver effective and timely relief to people most in need.

Story

Thank you for ditching your home comforts for one night and signing up to Camp for Nepal at Crosfields.  We ask for a minimum donation of £10 per pitch/tent and all donations will go to the DEC to help those whose lives have been devastated by the earthquake in Nepal.

What the DEC say:

A massive earthquake has killed thousands of people in Nepal and tens of thousands more are in need of support. Many factors have combined to make this event so devastating – the size of the quake, the age and condition of many buildings, the population density and the difficulty of reaching remote villages in the mountainous terrain.

£25 can provide clean water for four families for 1 month

£50 can feed a family for two weeks

£100 can provide emergency shelter for five families
