JDRF 100 Challenge
Campaign by JDRF (RCN 295716)
Were asking you to dream up a challenge involving the number 100 that you can complete within or across 100 days. It could be anything you like; bake 100 cookies, run a mile a day for 100 days, do 100 push-ups or decorate 100 Christmas cards.

Story

The children from Cruising for a Cure team are a talented group of U13 roller hockey players. They are 2020's U11 South Eastern Counties Champions from Herne Bay Roller Hockey Club. They've chosen to raise money by cycling a collective of 100miles in 1 month (1st April - 30th April 2021) to raise money for JDRF. This charity is close at heart as 1 of the older players was diagnosed T1 diabetic in 2018 age 10. Maizie will be joining the team for this challenge.

Please donate generously to help find a cure 💙

Insulin has saved millions of lives but its not enough.Using insulin to manage type 1 diabetes isnt easy. Imagine what the world would look like if people with type 1 no longer needed to count carbs, prick their fingers or have injections. If hypos didnt exist and type 1 was just a footnote in medical history. We know life without type 1 will happen. Its just a matter of time. Our world-class researchers are making huge progress in the search for new ways to prevent, treat and cure type 1. But we need your help to continue. Please get involved this World Diabetes Day.
