Story
As you know, cancer has impacted my family in an awful way. But my kids and I are getting through it thanks to the love and support of family and friends. That's why I've decided to support Teen Cancer America by running in the Los Angeles Marathon's Charity Challenge. I will be completing the second half of the course starting in Hollywood and finishing in Santa Monica. We all know that cancer sucks but imagine being a teenager with all the hormonal, angsty, social pressures and then being diagnosed with this horrible, sucky disease. Teenagers should be thinking about growth spurts, prom and pimples not chemotherapy, surgery and oncologists. Teens with cancer need specialized care and support. Teen Cancer America partners with hospitals to provide specialized facilities, support and treatments targeted to teenagers. Please join me in supporting this important cause by donating to Teen Cancer America.
