Story

LONDON MARATHON 2017

I have taken on a charity place for the 2017 Virgin London Marathon supporting the National Brain Appeal who, as you all well know, are a charity who were a great support to our family when my Mum was ill in 2012.

I am aiming to raise £2012 to show our appreciation for their work.

I wont bore you all with daily updates on the training, but suffice to say I am taking things seriously with 5:30am starts and over 40 miles of running a week for a full 16 weeks leading up to the event. (Training Started January 1st!)

If you are able to help and/or spread the word I am, as always, incredibly grateful.

About the charity

There are 14.7million people – that’s more than one in six – in the UK living with a neurological condition. Here at the country's leading neurological centre, we’re passionate about supporting the hospital to help improve the lives of patients through treatment and research.
