Story

Every year, hospices in the UK provide more than 26 million hours of care and support to over 360,000 people. From managing someone's pain to supporting them and their family emotionally and socially, hospices help and inspire people to live the end of their lives to the full. Yet only a third of the funding needed to provide these vital services comes from the Government. The rest, more than £1.9m per day, must be raised by hospices themselves.

That's why a team from Clydesdale Bank's Legal and Governance team are wiping down their hiking boots, some for the third year running, others for the first time and taking to the Lake District for a 26 mile trek this September.

To date the Legal & Governance team has raised £12k from the last couple of challenges! With the Bank then matching our total, it means that the amount Hospice UK has received from our efforts is a huge £24k!. This is a fantastic achievement and our team is extremely proud of this.

We are really grateful for the support we have received over the last few years and would appreciate any support that you can give again this year!

Thanks again
