Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself, Ryan Martin & Michael Crossan have decided to do a charity cycle to raise money for Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke. The idea for this challenge came after my uncle, Sean Martin passed away 27 May 2013 following a major heart attack. He spent three days in the intensive care unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.

Sean was 49 when he died and was due to celebrate his 50 birthday on the 9 of June 2013. He was a huge Chelsea fan and had supported the team since he was a boy, in fact Sean’s passion and love for the club was one of his defining characteristics, as you can see from his photograph. He passed his affection and allegiance for CFC on to two of his sons which I know made him an immensely proud father.

Our goal is to cycle from Belfast to Stamford Bridge, London (Chelsea’s Stadium) to place a wreath in Sean’s name and raise as much money as possible for NICHS.
