Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

Some close friends and I are saddling up for the Lands End
to John O’Groates challenge. This is the length of the uk, 938 miles in 10 days on a bike……wish us luck!!

The challenge is in memory of my friends mum Sue James who sadly passed away last June from Sepsis. We are raising money for Sepsis Trust UK, any donations will be very gratefully received.
