Story
It's snow joke folks.. On a cold and frosty morning in December the ladies of the Daily Star office will be hanging up our stilettos and donning Santa suits (with beards) to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Normally on a Sunday morning we'd be hungover watching Hollyoaks on the sofa (or just getting in from the night before for the GOSS girls) but instead we'll be braving the freezing temperatures of Greenwich Park for our festive frolic.
But it's all for an amazing cause..sadly hundreds of very sick children will be spending their Christmas day in hospital this year. The good work of Great Ormond Street staff ensures they get treated to a day like no other and thankfully they won't be forgotten by Santa. It costs £50 million to keep this life-saving hospital open every year and provide unrivalled care for these children and their families from all over the UK.
This is all part of our Daily Star Christmas Appeal and all contributions will go straight to the children that need it to survive another Christmas.
So please dig deep and donate. I'm sure we'll be ho-ho-hopeless at getting round the 5k track in a speedy time but at least we'll look like Christmas crackers in our Santa suits..!
