Child Refugee Crisis Appeal
Campaign by Save the Children (RCN England and Wales (213890) Scotland (SC039570))
A record 65.3 million people have been forced to flee their homes worldwide. We’re doing whatever it takes to get life-saving aid to vulnerable children and offer hope to affected families.

Story

On April 17th, I will be departing for Tanzania with one objective in mind, to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. I will be taking the Machame Route, a 7 day trek covering an average of 15km per day. The trek will take me (hopefully) to Uhuru peak, standing at 19,340 feet.

ALL COSTS have been paid my myself and any donations will go straight to Save the Children and specifically to projects supporting the growing refugee crisis across the middle east

I appreciate that at this time of year there is a lot of fundraising going on and that many people will be asking for sponsorship, so if it helps you put your hands in your pockets, imagine me lying on the hard floor of a tent in temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius..... surely worth some cash.

'Save the Children believes that every child deserves a future. In the UK and around the world, they give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. They do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we share.By supporting my fundraising, you are helping to give children a brighter future. Thank you!'
