On Sunday 11th April I successfully completed the Paris Marathon. The last few miles were absolutely horrific but I managed a time of 4hrs 37mins. It was a beautiful spring morning in Paris and an amazing event.

I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who generously sponsored me and for all your messages of support, they were very much appreciated. We have now raised well over my target of £1500 which is absolutely fantastic so thank you very much indeed.

Huge congratulations to my fellow ‘dream team’ runners who were ‘magnifique’ and thank you to our wonderful supporters who came to Paris to cheer us on.

Once again, many thanks for ALL your support.

Fundraising details...

I have been raising money for the Trewan Sands Childrens Trust who do amazing work providing holidays throughout the UK for severely disabled and terminally ill children and their families, many from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Just £500 is enough for a family to have a much needed holiday where specially adapted facilities provide a relaxing and fun environment. I'm hoping to raise at least £1000 so that two boys and their families from Manchester can travel together to Martin Mere in July. Mark and Jake both have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and have become close friends through their time at Francis House Hospice. Please see their photo attached.
