Story
Hi Guys,
Thank you for visiting my Just Giving Page.
As you may or may not know, Myself my sister Jessica and three close friends Alex, Jack and Ben are running (attempting) the 'London to Brighton 100km' on the 24th May 2014... We're either mad, crazy or stupid..possibly all three!
We have chosen to run for 'Help For Heroes' (www.helpforheroes.org.uk) Their mission is to deliver an enduring national network of support for our wounded and their families.
This is a charity that is very close to our hearts as we all have family and friends who have served/currently serving in the Armed Forces. Myself, Jess, Alex, Jack and Ben are members of staff at 241 Squadron Air Cadets which is where our obvious military connection is. Sadly on 13th January 2007 Royal Marine Tom Curry (an ex 241 squadron cadet) lost his life in Afghanistan aged just 21. As a squadron we like to keep Tom's memory alive and i think this challenge will do just that!
This is our way of being able to give something back and will hopefully make those who are wounded/injured or made the ultimate sacrifice extremely proud!
