Story

In memory of the inventor of Rugby football, William Webb Ellis, I will be undertaking a 100 mile cycle challenge from the birthplace of the game to the home of the game: The Close to Twickenham. All funds will go to support the incredible Matt Hampson Foundation and Rugby School's 1823 Bursary.

Thank you for giving what you can, every little helps our team and Matt Hampson OBE to support young sportspeople like Taylor Gough who suffered severe spinal injuries in a car accident. Taylor was playing Rugby for Leicester Tigers at the time of his accident. Matt began mentoring the young sportsman, helping him to come to terms with his injuries and share his own experiences in an attempt to help Taylor get busy living and rebuild his life.

The Rugby School 1823 Bursary Fund and the Matt Hampson Foundation support young people with a passion for sport.

Your gift will be split 50:50 between the two charities. Find out more about them here:https://www.rugbyschool.co.uk/200-anniversary/1823-bursary/https://www.matthampsonfoundation.org/
