Story

Thanks for visiting. I'm Dan, a regular guy looking to help people much more remarkable and brave than myself. I am going to be undertaking a challenge that will test me and my perseverance, resilience and fairly average fitness like never before!

Those close to me know I donate monthly to Derian House. A charity close to my heart and soul as they do something remarkable; they care for and create smiles for children who don't have as long to live as they should have.

I believe this charity and the wonderful people who work there don't need anymore than this in the way of introduction or persuading you to donate. They are real life superheroes. I want to raise as much money as humanly possible to positively impact as many beautiful children's lives as we can as a team.

So I am going to walk to Scotland, commencing from one of my local pubs, the White Horse in Edgworth on September 6th, 2022 and I hope to make the 117 mile trek in 3-4 days. I will be looking to live stream as much of my journey as possible (battery permitting) so you can see what I see along the way, hopefully encountering some interesting people and stunning views. It won't be easy, physically or mentally, but I couldn't think of anything better to do with my spare time. Please share my page on as widely as possible. Thank you very much.

Ps. I will not have access to these funds in anyway and will be self-funding all equipment, accommodation, food, resources, GoPro, pedicures and physio appointments! :)
