As most of you know I am certainly not built for marathon running - more shade in the summer and warmth in the winter!! So this is a MASSIVE undertaking for me and not going to lie, has almost finished me off.

The one thing that has kept me going, is hopefully I can raise some funds for a charity that is very close to my heart. My niece is handicapped both mentally and physically. During the pandemic lockdown, the one respite that she had attended for a couple of days a week, had to close up completely and due to the number of fundraising events that were cancelled, took a real hit financially. 

It is a small charity and every penny really does make a difference, not only for the people that attend but for the families of those individuals that have been in almost complete lockdown due to the complex nature of their conditions  - especially during these very trying times.

I would love to boost their coffers so they can start organising some fun events for those that really need social interaction again.
