I'm not a strong swimmer but since Covid started and lockdown happened I've discovered a huge love of open water swimming and have been pushing myself to improve. I've been very lucky to have Spring Lakes Water Park virtually on my doorstep😊

Taking on a 5k swim is a big distance and mentally and physically challenging but I'm not one to shy away from a challenge, especially for such good causes.

Cancer Research UK are the only charity fighting over 200 cancer types but don't receive any government funding for their work, so their progress is all thanks to the support of people like you.

Marie Curie provides expert care, guidance and support for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. Around 2,100 Marie Curie Nurses work day and night, in peoples homes all over the UK, providing hands-on care to people when they need it most.
