The Ally Cadence Trust provides support to families affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1. Children with SMA Type 1 have limited movement and may have breathing difficulties. We offer many items of specialist equipment to them that are not readily available on the NHS

Story

Hi all,

The Butterfly Fund has been set up in the memory of Sophie Harling who passed away from Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 on 22nd October 2016.

On Sunday 22nd October 2017 I will be running the Great South Run with Sophie's family to help raise money for ACT (Ally Cadence Trust) for SMA which is a very special charity that supported our friends Wayne and Lizzie Harling, who we met through our antenatal group. This charity supported them and their daughter Sophie when she was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 last year.

All donations will be much appreciated and will be used to provide continued supported for other families.
