Hello, I am Danai, Welcome to my fundraising page! I'm part of a team at LSE raising money for Hope for Children by trekking Kilimanjaro, and as you can see, I've set myself an ambitious fundraising target for the year! This is all to support the brilliant and invaluable charity, Hope for Children. 

I have come to appreciate the privilege of being healthy, having a meal on my plate every day, and having access to higher level education. But life isn’t about what we have, but about how we utilise our resources to benefit the ones around us. From a young age, my ambition has been to make a difference in this world; to make a difference in someone else's world. I was amazed and inspired by the work of Hope for Children; an organisation with the mission to ensure children in the most extreme poverty are as happy and content as any other child, enjoying a childhood that sets them up for a fulfilling future - because every child deserves that. Thus, working toward that goal, this year I decided to challenge myself into doing something different, something outside of my comfort zone, both mentally and physically. I decided to dedicate my time in fundraising for Hope for Children by trekking mountain Kilimanjaro!

By challenging myself into physical and psychological discipline, I ask you to challenge yourself by offering to those who need it the most. Because a small deprivation of yours, will make the difference to Samson, Anil, Kavith, Fathima, Darshan, Caroline, and so many others...
