Those of you who know me know that I'm married to Lisa and that we have two lovely young sons Connor (6) and Dylan (3).

Last November we received news that totally changed our world, we was told that Lisa has Breast Cancer.

She has just finished receiving treatment, she had two operations, she has recently completed her courses of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy.

Although the planned treatment is over, the recovery will take longer and the check-up's to see if this horrible disease has gone will continue for around 5 years. Its been a very difficult time and the treatment Lisa's been through is tough. 

Lisa's best friend Louise Havers and I had an idea to give something back to Cancer Research, a sponsored bike ride the length of Peddars Way which stretches from Thetford Forest (Knettishall Heath) up to the North Norfolk coast near Hunstanton and then along to Heacham and the welcoming party. 

We successfully completed the distance on the 20th August in around 9 hours (stopping at one pub which was only a toilet break!). It was a distance of 50 miles in one day along what was mainly foot paths and tracks and it stayed dry on the day so the mud wasn't too bad.

We would still like your support to continue to make our event a success even though the event has been completed. If we can help those who will struggle to cope with this disease in the future by either identifying causes or trying to make the treatment needed more comfortable, then our object will be acheived.
