Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Well, the training paid off! I managed to complete the course in 49 minutes and 15 seconds, which I am delighted with.
Doing the run was a great experience and I think I may have the bug now.....already planning my next one!
A big, big thank you for all your support and sponsorship. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
PKU affects about 1 in 10,000 children. It is an inherited disorder which, if not treated, would cause brain damage. Fortunately this can be prevented by a special diet. The NSPKU exists to assist those with PKU and their families in managing this highly specialised diet and to promote further research.
Our son Jack has PKU and and the support and information that has been available to us from the NSPKU has been brilliant. This, and the encouragement of the fantastic people at the Royal Alex in Brighton and Guys & St Thomas' hospital in London, have helped Jack become the fine young man he is!
